The filter on your VERVE chiller does NOT need to be replaced regularly. However it is advisable to clean it.
Cleaning Your Chiller's Sediment Filter
All VERVE Chillers are equipped with a washable 50-micron sediment filter. For personal daily use, it is recommended to clean (and replace if needed) every 3-4 weeks, depending on usage and preferences. In commercial settings, the filter should be cleaned (and replaced if necessary) every 1-2 weeks, depending on the level of use.
Note: During warm water sessions, extended time in the bath can lead to increased detoxification as your body releases sweat, skin particles, and debris into the water. As a result, the filter may require more frequent cleaning or replacement compared to ice bath use.
To assist with filter maintenance, monitor the chiller's flow rate through the app. If the unit appears to be working harder than usual or if the flow rate drops below normal levels, it's a sign that the filter needs to be cleaned or replaced. Additionally, visible debris in the filter indicates that it's time for maintenance.
Cleaning the Chiller's Inner Filter
If the flow rate remains low after cleaning or replacing the sediment filter, inspect and clean the inner filter. We recommend cleaning the inner filter every 6-8 weeks to reduce strain on the water pump.
