Steps through the Tori stack: 5–150 kg
Train With Your Gear
Log your sets and reps on your Tori Functional Trainer with built-in rest timers to keep you on pace between sets. The weight steps through the stack in the exact increments printed on the pin, so what you see in the app always matches what's on the pin. Log single lifts or full workouts, and let the app track your personal records automatically.
Live Machine Connection
The VERVE Commercial Rower and VERVE Ski Trainer connect over Bluetooth the moment you wake the console. There are no pairing screens to find. Set a goal in metres, calories or time, and watch live pace, stroke rate, watts and your projected finish update as you go. Switch to another app mid-session and the workout keeps tracking in the background.

Progress That Sticks
Every personal record is logged with the reps, the date, and an estimated one-rep max, so you always know exactly what you lifted and when. Every cardio session lands in your logbook too, with season bests like your fastest 2,000 m, and your body weight trend if you weigh in through Apple Health.

Data and account
Every screen in the app, explained in plain language.
Download VERVE Training from the App Store, open it, and sign in with the email you used with VERVE. The app walks you through picking your equipment and your training goal, then builds you a plan. You can change your equipment, units (kg or lb) and goal at any time from the Profile tab, and rebuild your plan whenever your setup changes.
Today is your daily snapshot. At the top, your readiness rings show Sleep, Recovery and Strain, fed by WHOOP if you have connected one, or by Apple Health otherwise. Your VERVE Score tracks your strength across all movements. The Cardio card connects you to your VERVE machine, and Today's Workout holds your next planned session, collapsed until you want it.
Your VERVE rower and ski trainer broadcast over Bluetooth automatically whenever the console is awake. There is nothing to pair in your phone's settings and no menu to find on the console. Support for VERVE treadmill and bike consoles varies by model; if your machine does not appear in the app, its console does not broadcast, and we can confirm what your model supports.
Next time, the app reconnects to your machine automatically. In a gym with several machines, it lists what it finds with the closest machine first.
The app speaks the standard Bluetooth fitness machine protocol, so most modern cardio machines from other brands connect too.
Once connected, set a goal in metres, calories or time, or skip the goal and just train. During the workout the screen shows your distance to go, a progress bar, a projected finish time, and your live numbers: pace, stroke rate, watts, calories, time and heart rate. Turn your phone sideways for a full-width console view that is easy to read on the machine.
Any Bluetooth heart-rate strap works: the app finds it and shows your live heart rate on the workout screen. WHOOP users: turn on Broadcast Heart Rate in the WHOOP app and your WHOOP appears to VERVE Training like a strap. Apple Watch cannot send live heart rate to the app, but watch workouts still sync through Apple Health afterwards.
Every cardio workout lands in your logbook on the Progress tab: date, machine, distance, time and calories, plus your season bests such as your best 500 m split, best 2,000 m and longest row. Tap any workout for the full breakdown and chart.
The Train tab opens with your Tori Functional Trainer. Pick a muscle group, or several, and choose a movement. Each exercise page lets you log your reps and sets right there, with the weight stepping through the Tori stack exactly as the stickers read: 5 to 150 kg in 5 kg steps, or 11 to 330 lb if you train in pounds. Your history for that movement shows every time you come back, along with your best. How to do it, muscles worked and common mistakes sit just below, one tap to expand.
Your plan lives at the bottom of the Train tab. It is built for your goal, your schedule and the equipment you actually own, and you can rebuild it any time, especially after adding new gear.
Progress holds your VERVE Score, training volume, strength trends, personal bests, cardio logbook and, if you weigh yourself with any app or scale that feeds Apple Health, your body weight trend by day, week, month or year, in your chosen unit.
Your Gym lists the equipment you own. Add gear as your setup grows, and the app recommends VERVE equipment that unlocks new exercises for you. It never suggests something you already own or an accessory for a machine you do not have.
