In sports and fitness, a kettlebell is a cast-steel or cast-iron spherical shape free weight with a handle on the top, either standard handle or a competition handle. Designed to be used in a wide range of exercises, they mostly involve cardiovascular, strength, conditioning and flexibility.
The main physical differences are the handles being smaller with a squarish shape for Competition Kettlebells and they are the same shape and size regardless of the weight, unlike Standard Kettlebells.
If you are a beginner, we suggest you start with the Standard / Classic Kettlebells and once you improve and want to bring your strength training to the next level then upgrade to Competition Kettlebells.
Although you can perform many exercises with Kettlebells, they are ideal for full body exercises that include snatches, clean and jerks and specially swings.
