VERVE is proud to be the official equipment sponsor of PD Savage as he competes with the elite in the 2018 Reebok CrossFit Games Europe Regional in Berlin on May 18th. Only the top 40 men, 40 women and 30 four-person teams are invited to compete at the Europe Regional.
In the 2018 CrossFit Games Open, Savage secured a phenomenal 3rd place ranking in the Europe Central region amongst a vast sea of 20,130 male athletes.
Unbeknownst to many, it was in late 2016 that Savage underwent extensive surgery for a 50% tear of the left shoulder with the labrum reattached and scar tissue from right collar bone removed. Not one to be kept down, fast forward 19 months and Savage is a real contender to compete at the 2018 CrossFit Games in Madison, USA.
The CrossFit Games are similar to the Olympics but harder! The athletes who qualify are the world's best and have differentiated themselves from hundreds of thousands of competitors. For most qualifiers, it's the culmination of years of incredible effort and commitment.
