The photo shows how the bottom seat can slide out before it slides back in tight against the back pad.
This bench can become a Flat Incline Decline (FID) Bench if you also add the optional leg attachment. This optional leg attachment connects to the VERVE No Gap Bench, transforming it into a highly versatile gym bench that supports a wider range of exercises.

"Firstly, Im in love with this bench, and so is my husband and my twin boys. My twins are 6ft +,130kg + Pacific Island men. They come now for garage bench sessions. Its width fits them perfectly and holds their weight well. This bench is solid and a good investment if you are building your own gym. I’ve worked at a few gyms as a PT and I’d say this bench is atheistically pleasing to the eye than most commercial equipment and would cater well to the bigger boys.
