Project Gap

PROJECT GAP specialises in providing athletic development, recovery, and rehabilitation services to aspiring athletes, and is based at Saxons High Performance Sports Centre.

With over 10-years in the sporting industry working at a community, academy, semi-pro and elite level, PG have been fortunate enough to work with some of the best coaches and practitioners in the industry and have been exposed to the unbelievable systems that build, grow and support an environment to be successful.

Project GAP state-of-the-art performance facility in Croydon is unrivalled in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

The facility hosts sports science technology, seen at elite sporting codes from their partners at VALD Performance (ForceDecks, ForceFrame, NordBord, Smartspeed – timing gates, Smart jump, DynaMo).

The gymnasium reflects the environment of a professional sporting organisation to inspire any athlete to achieve their performance or rehab goals.

Fitted out by Project Gaps partners at VERVE, they have spared no expense to provide equipment of the highest quality to ensure all the athletes have the best. Because it's a known fact, to be the best, you need to train with the best!

With VERVE’s 3D gym planning, they had designed the best layout to maximise the space, to ensure a state-of-the-art high-performance facility was delivered.

Through a collaborative approach, VERVE Fitness delivered a full facility solution with premium equipment, backed by exceptional support and customer service.

The recovery resources within this program include both “wet” and “dry” modalities to assist athletes with their vigorous training schedule.

Wet recovery is namely hot & cold spas, and for the dry recovery, Normatec compression and Infrared Saunas are provided.

The PG coaches and clinicians are all tertiary educated and qualified with appropriate governing bodies – with a wealth of experience in varying sporting codes from the community to the elite level. The program has a diverse and qualified team of

Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Osteopaths, Exercise Scientists as well as Strength & Conditioning Coaches.

The vision of Project GAP and what they do at Saxons High Performance Centre is to bring world-class coaches, practitioners, and systems to the private sector to provide any aspiring athlete with the resources to be their best.
